Hanoi house cafe was such a surprising find during my stay in Paje. I tried the claypot rice once and their Bahn Mi Chao and coconut coffee the other day. Claypot rice was pretty good with a hint of sweetness in the sauce. It was fulfilling and nourishing like a big hug. Bahn Mi Chao had meatballs in tomato sauce, something similar to shakshuka. The eggs and veggies added texture and depth. Coconut coffee was so good topped with a Coconut ice cream. The staffs were well trained and knew what they were doing unlike most of the places in Tanzania. I also had an opportunity to chat with the owner Kim. She was hospitable and even offered a discount coupon for her other restaurant. Will definitely come back again.

The best ice coffee in Sansibar! (We tried coconut coffee and yoghurt coffee). We came back there also for food and it was delicious. The staff is very nice as well.

Lovely beautiful place, we had the traditional coffee with condensed milk, the mango matcha and the thai noodles (one with beef and one with tofu). Super delicious!

Hanoi House Café was on my bucket list, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! I specifically came for the coconut iced coffee, and it was nothing short of amazing—a true treat. Every sip was delightful, and it’s something I looked forward to for so long. The cozy atmosphere and attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re a coffee lover or just looking for something unique, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
